David Wesley Craig is a prominent academic and researcher in the field of bioinformatics and translational genomics. Currently serving as Professor and Chair of the Department of Integrative Translational Sciences at City of Hope since July 2023, David has previously held significant positions at the University of Southern California, including Co-Director of the Institute of Translational Genomics and Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Translational Genomics from June 2016 to July 2023. Prior to this, David worked at the Translational Genomics Research Institute from September 2003 to May 2016, where responsibilities included Deputy Director of Information Sciences and Director of the Neurogenomics Division, focusing on precision genomics related to childhood disorders, psychiatric disorders, and late-stage metastatic cancer. David earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering from the University of Washington from 1998 to 2003.
