Jack Wang

Managing Director, Cytogenomics at City of Hope

Jack Wang is an accomplished professional in the field of cytogenomics and molecular genetics, currently serving as a Clinical Associate Professor at Beckman Research Institute since December 2022 and as the Managing Director of Cytogenomics at City of Hope since August 2020. Previous roles include Senior Director at Quest Diagnostics from July 2011 to August 2020 and Head of Cytogenetics at McMaster University from July 2005 to July 2011. Jack began a career in cytogenetics as a Cytogeneticist at the Children's & Women's Health Centre of British Columbia Branch in early 2005 and completed a residency in Anatomic Pathology at Mackay Memorial Hospital in 1995. Jack holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics and an MSc in Cancer Cytogenetics from McGill University, as well as an MD from China Medical University.
