Kristin Higgins, MD, serves as the Chief Clinical Officer and Professor of Radiation Oncology at City of Hope since January 2024. Previously, Kristin held various positions at Emory Healthcare, including Professor and Vice Chair of Clinical Research, and Network Physician/Radiation Oncologist from August 2011 to January 2024. Kristin's academic journey at Emory University School of Medicine included roles from Instructor to Full Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology, culminating as Vice Chair of Clinical Research. Additionally, Kristin led the Lung Cancer Program at Winship Cancer Institute from June 2021 until January 2024. Prior to these roles, Kristin completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at Duke University Medical Center, where Kristin also served as Chief Resident. Kristin holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University.
