Jeff Pratt has extensive experience in law enforcement, serving in various roles since December 1981. Currently, Jeff holds the position of Detective at the Idaho Falls Police Department, focusing on crime scene investigation and reconstruction of major and violent crimes, as well as investigating people and property crimes. Jeff also serves as a Senior Criminal Investigator for the City of Idaho Falls, specializing in the investigation of significant offenses. Previously, from December 1981 to September 2001, Jeff was involved in uniform patrol, where duties included general patrol functions, serving as a Field Training Officer, and authoring the original Field Training Officer Rookie Book. Additionally, from March 1992 to October 1994, Jeff worked as a Special Investigator for the Idaho Attorney General’s office, with further forensic document examinations conducted between 2001 and 2010.
