Natalie van Dongen

Natalie van Dongen currently serves as the Deputy Director of Policy and Planning for the Indianapolis Department of Public Works, a position held since September 2017, while previously holding roles such as Council Liaison and Mayor's Neighborhood Advocate, which involves facilitating connections between residents and city services in Washington and Lawrence Township. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Coordinator and Intern at the Mayor's Action Center and the Mayor's Office, as well as an Interpretation Intern at the Center for Urban Ecology and a Conservation Education/Interpretation Intern at the Indianapolis Zoological Society. Natalie van Dongen earned a degree from Butler University between 2014 and 2018.
