Carey Li

Carey Li, CPA, is a Senior Accountant at the City of Santa Ana since March 2021, with prior experience at Viant Technology as a Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant from October 2018 to January 2021, and at Deloitte as an Audit & Assurance Senior Assistant and Audit Intern between September 2017 and August 2016. Additionally, Carey Li served in various leadership roles at IMA, including Vice President and Arrangements Chair, from 2014 to 2016, and worked as a Biomedical Research Scientist at UC Irvine from 2008 to 2015. Academically, Carey Li holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Cal State Fullerton and both a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
