Josh Brooks

Josh Brooks has an extensive work experience in the public sector. Josh began their career in 2006 at the City of Huntington Beach, where they served as a Senior Administrative Analyst until 2011. Josh then joined the City of Commerce, first as an Assistant Director of Finance from 2011 to 2022, and later as the Director of Finance from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Director of Administrative Services at the City of Irvine, which they started in March 2023.

Josh Brooks graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics. Josh then went on to pursue a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the California State University, Long Beach, graduating in 2010. Josh'sfield of study during this period was Public Administration.
