Derrick Davis

Derrick Davis, MPA, has extensive experience in law enforcement and public administration. Currently serving as a School Resource Officer at Nimitz High School in Irving since December 2007, Derrick Davis previously held the position of Criminal Investigator with the US Army Criminal Investigation Division from January 2005 to September 2007 and served as a Military Police Officer in the US Army from July 2001 to January 2004. Additionally, Derrick Davis was the Treasurer/CFO on the Executive Board for the Texas Association of School Resource Officers from October 2019 to October 2023, overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and legal matters for the nonprofit organization. Derrick Davis earned a Master of Public Administration degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in December 2019.
