Gabrielle Sikes is an experienced library professional currently serving as a Senior Library Assistant specializing in Outreach and Communications for the City of Irving since September 2019. Gabrielle has developed community engagement plans, fostered relationships with various stakeholders, and enhanced patron experiences through a variety of programs and events. Prior roles include Associate Director for the American Heart Association’s Côtes du Coeur, where Gabrielle focused on fundraising and community connections, and positions in different libraries, contributing to event planning, patron services, and technology integration. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Texas.
