Tonya Gregg Whitzel

Tonya Gregg Whitzel has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Tonya Gregg started their career as a paralegal at the Law Offices of Robert S. Gregg in 1996 and eventually became an Attorney in 2005. Tonya Gregg worked at the firm until 2014. In 2014, they joined the Dallas County District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney and stayed until 2017. Since 2017, they have been working at the City of Irving, first as an Assistant City Attorney and currently serving as the Chief Prosecutor.

Tonya Gregg Whitzel obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the Texas A&M University School of Law. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Practical Leadership from The University of Dallas, which they accomplished in December 2022.
