Mitiz Merriweather

Mitiz Merriweather currently serves as Chief Deputy Court Clerk for the City of Jackson, TN, since February 2023. In addition, Mitiz holds the position of Director for the Southeastern District Council Women’s Forum, overseeing women’s ministry initiatives across 25 churches in Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, and Louisiana since September 2019. Mitiz has extensive experience in legal and real estate fields, having worked as a General Council Secretary for the Southeastern District Council since April 2010, a Qualifying Agent for Concrete Finishers of America, Inc., since September 1985, and as a paralegal for various law firms and the State of Tennessee from 1985 to 2023. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Union University and an Associate's degree in Office Occupations Technology from Jackson State Community College.
