Carrence Bass

Carrence Bass serves as the Executive Director of the Council on Elder Affairs for the City of Jacksonville, overseeing initiatives that enhance the welfare of over 100,000 older adults while managing multimillion-dollar budgets. As the President/CEO and Founder of Making Strides For Autism, Inc., Carrence has successfully driven a 250% growth in the organization's budget through effective fundraising efforts. Previous experience includes advising on policies for the Center for Autism & Related Disabilities at UF Health, managing HR operations at GC Services Limited Partnership, and organizing significant events in roles at StatuEsque Affairs and Autism Speaks. Additional expertise includes various positions in customer service and operations within the financial sector. Educational background includes studies at Florida State College at Jacksonville and the University of Phoenix, alongside a high school diploma from Eustis High School.
