Lisa S. Ransom has extensive experience in urban planning and community service, currently serving as the Manager of the Neighborhood Services Office (NSO) for the City of Jacksonville since its establishment in May 2016. In this role, Ransom leads a team dedicated to enhancing communication between citizens and local government, facilitating access to essential services. Additionally, Ransom holds the position of City Planner Manager within the Planning & Development department since October 2006. Prior experience includes working as a Planner II at the New York City Planning Department from August 1988 to 1994. Lisa S. Ransom earned a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts, with a focus on Psychology and Spanish, from Sarah Lawrence College.
