Cara Prell

Cara Prell, MS, is a seasoned recreation management professional with extensive experience in various roles within the City of Johns Creek, Georgia, serving as Recreation Manager since November 2021 and previously as Recreation Coordinator. Prior experience includes serving as Recreation Supervisor for the City of Alpharetta from April 2015 to January 2022 and as a Part-Time Instructor at Georgia State University from January 2007 to May 2015, where Cara instructed American Red Cross Emergency Medical Responder courses and mentored students. Additionally, Cara worked as a Health Specialist for the American Red Cross from January 2001 to June 2011, providing training to thousands of students. Cara holds a Master’s Degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology from The University of New Mexico.
