Edith Damann

Edith Damann, MS, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, marketing, and event management. Currently serving as the External Communications Manager for the City of Johns Creek, Georgia, since August 2015, Edith has successfully developed multi-channel communication strategies and led community event outreach efforts that attract over 100,000 attendees annually. Prior experience includes managing integrated marketing projects for the City of Dunwoody at Jacobs, implementing educational programs to engage residents, and coordinating marketing campaigns at Transaction Tree. Additionally, Edith held various marketing and event coordination roles at Achasta/Reynolds Plantation, Wild Bill's Atlanta, and Spaulding Communications. Edith holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Advertising from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia and a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from West Virginia University.
