Chris Leigh is an experienced professional in urban planning and community development, currently serving as the Director of Planning and Community Development for the City of Joondalup since November 2016. Previously held the position of Manager of Planning Services within the same organization. Chris is also an Executive Committee Member of the Local Government Planners Association since July 2015 and worked as a Senior Associate at CLE Town Planning + Design from June 2012 to November 2016. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Planner at the City of Stirling (Western Australia) from December 2007 to June 2012. Chris Leigh holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Curtin University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Murdoch University, and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
