Jason Laverdure

Jason Laverdure is an experienced economic development professional with a diverse background in community engagement and business relations. Currently serving as an Economic Development Officer (Digital) for the City of Joondalup since November 2024, Jason previously held the position of Business Engagement Officer at the Town of Port Hedland. Prior roles include Community and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator and Discover Volleyball Coordinator for Juniors at Volleyball WA, as well as Acting Site Manager and Accounts and Admin Officer at Vibe Petroleum. Jason's career began at Volleyball WA as Competitions and Events Coordinator and includes a brief stint as a Sports Coach at The University of Western Australia. Jason is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing at Curtin University and holds an Advanced Diploma in Events Management from AIBTGlobal and a Diploma in International Business from Central Institute of Technology.
