Andrew Brien

Andrew Brien has extensive experience in leadership roles within local government and public administration. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder since March 2022, Andrew has held multiple CEO positions in various councils, including the City of Bayswater and the City of Bunbury. Additionally, Andrew serves as a State Councillor and Vice President for the Institute of Public Administration Australia WA since 2011 and is a Regional Forum Member at the Australian Institute of Company Directors from April 2024. Andrew's career commenced at Brisbane City Council, where a focus on project management began, and further development occurred through various executive roles across different councils. Andrew completed education at Mosman High from 1979 to 1984.
