Pia Timu

Pia Timu has a diverse background in marketing, communications, and events coordination. Pia started their career as an Account Manager at Fairfax Media in 2006, then moved on to work as an Events Coordinator at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder from 2010 to 2014. Pia then transitioned to the role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Central Regional TAFE from 2014 to 2022. Pia briefly worked as a Communications Advisor at Goldfields-Esperance Development Commission in early 2022 before taking on the position of Head of Marketing at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder in May 2022.

Pia Timu attended Dandenong High School from 1997 to 2002 for Year 7 to 12. Pia then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies at Monash University from 2003 to 2006.
