Sam Monahan

Sam Monahan currently serves as a Communications Specialist for the City of Kannapolis, a position held since April 2023. Previously, Sam was a Senior Creative Designer - Digital at Lowe's Companies, Inc., where responsibilities included developing digital assets for email campaigns and social media. Prior experience includes serving as Creative Lead at QuintEvents, overseeing the design and implementation of email and social campaigns for sporting and entertainment events, and as an Associate Representative at Girl Scouts of the USA, conducting tours and programs. Sam’s design background also includes positions as a Graphic Designer at Troff Services and an intern at WhirlWind Creative. Sam holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, with additional study at the SCAD Lacoste campus.
