Theresa Danielsen

Theresa Danielsen is an experienced financial manager with a comprehensive background in budget development and fiscal management within municipal government. Currently serving as a Financial Manager for the City of Kansas City, Missouri since April 2016, Theresa oversees operational and capital improvement funding for key city facilities and manages significant voter-approved bond funding. Previous roles include Assistant Budget Director/Officer and Senior Analyst, where Theresa coordinated the annual budget process and developed financial forecasts. Additional experience includes positions as Budget Manager and Budget Analyst with the City of Independence, Missouri, and Project Administrator for the Federal Aviation Administration. Theresa holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southwest Baptist University.
