Christian Zepeda, CFM, is currently serving as an Assistant Planner for the City of Katy since November 2021, where responsibilities include reviewing development proposals and site plans, as well as processing and compiling plat submittals. Prior to this, Christian held the position of Planning Technician at International Consulting Engineers (I.C.E.) for a brief period in 2020 and completed an internship in Urban Planning with the 12th Man Foundation from August 2019 to June 2020. Christian obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Transportation from the University of Washington.

The City of Katy is the hub of three counties - Harris, Waller and Fort Bend - and is located 30 miles west of Houston. The City was founded on rice farming in the late 1800s and was formally incorporated in 1945.
