Josh Burkhead

Josh Burkhead is an experienced Firefighter/EMT currently serving with the City of Katy since November 2021, providing essential emergency services including fire suppression and medical transport. Additionally, Josh has served in the United States Army Reserve since December 2009, holding the rank of Major and fulfilling various leadership roles, including current positions as an Observer, Coach, and Trainer. Previous firefighting experience includes time at the Porter Fire Department and specialized roles at The Response Group focusing on emergency response exercises. Josh's educational background includes a Master of Science in Fire and Emergency Management Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, both obtained from Oklahoma State University.
