Melissa Bisset is an experienced public administration professional currently serving as City Recorder for the City of Keizer since June 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa held various positions within the City of Canby from October 2019 to June 2023, including Human Resources & Administrative Director and City Recorder. Additional experience includes serving as City Recorder in McMinnville and Executive Assistant to the Superintendent & Board of Directors for the Newberg School District. Melissa has a solid background in providing administrative support, managing records, and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations. Educational qualifications comprise a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Western Oregon University, complemented by a minor in Spanish.
