Torrie Bethany

Torrie Bethany currently serves as the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing for the City of Killeen, Texas, a position held since June 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Director for the National Domestic Violence Hotline from August 2022 to June 2025, and Marketing and Communications Manager at the Texas Education Agency from January 2019 to August 2022. Torrie has also worked as Communications Manager for both the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition and the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. Additional experience includes serving as Communications Project Coordinator at the State Bar of Texas, City Council Aide for the City of San Antonio, and internships with Congressman Al Green and Congressman Charles Gonzalez. Torrie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Our Lady of the Lake University, completed in 2010.
