Michele Hirsch currently serves as Co-Chair of the New York Organizing Committee for Local Progress and Founder of the Ulster County Children’s Advocacy Network. Since January 2020, Michele has held the position of Alderwoman for Ward 9 in the City of Kingston, NY, and has been a member of the Board of Directors for PULSES of the Mid-Hudson Valley since November 2017, focusing on providing resources to families of children with disabilities. Past roles include grassroots advocacy for children with Autism at Powering Up Parents, and various positions at Family Of Woodstock, including Assistant Program Director of Adolescent Services. Michele also has experience in PR and media placement from work with Medialink, Inc., and has owned a family farm where responsibilities included marketing and publicity efforts.
