Matthew McCombs, P.Eng. is an experienced engineering professional specializing in coastal and water resources engineering. Currently serving as Shoreline Project Engineer for the City of Kingston since March 2021, Matthew has previously held positions as a Coastal Engineer/River Scientist at GEO Morphix Ltd. and Water Resources Engineer at Matrix Solutions Inc., focusing on natural channel design, fish habitat restoration, and hydraulic modelling. Additional roles include Coastal Specialist at Parish Geomorphic Ltd. and Research Assistant at Queen's University, where Matthew conducted research on coastal systems and offshore wind farm impacts. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in Coastal Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Queen's University.
