Adam Weinstein

Adam Weinstein serves as the Director of Planning and Building for the City of Kirkland since December 2017, leading the Department's diverse divisions to promote an equitable and livable community. Prior roles include Deputy Planning Director at the same city and Planning Manager/Deputy Director of Community Development for the City of Pleasanton, where responsibilities encompassed supervisory and long-range planning duties. Adam's extensive experience involves project management and environmental review at LSA Associates, Inc., as well as research on pest management and insect ecology during early positions at UC-Berkeley and UW-Madison. Adam Weinstein holds a Master's degree in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
