Carly Joerger, MPA has extensive experience in various roles within the public sector. Carly is currently employed as a Management Analyst at the City of Kirkland, where they conduct strategic, policy, financial, and project analysis to support the City Manager's Office objectives. Their responsibilities in this role include overseeing a $10 million ARPA investment plan, coordinating the siting of a Crisis Stabilization Clinic, and analyzing staffing resources for the launch of Kirkland's Community Responder Program. Additionally, they provide critical analyst support for the formation and start-up of the new Regional Crisis Response Agency and staffs the Council's Legislative Workgroup.

Prior to their current position, Carly worked at the City of Bothell Washington as a Levy Program Manager, where they provided administrative services to the Board of the Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area. In this role, they managed a 6-year, $1.5 million per year levy for repairs to a Senior Center facility and oversaw a records management program. Carly also held the positions of Levy Coordinator for the Northshore Parks and Recreation Service Area and Levy Coordinator for the Public Safety Levy, where they effectively managed the implementation of a 12-year, $4.85 million per year voter-approved levy.

Carly's work experience also includes a role as a Graduate Student Consultant at the City of Pullman, where they provided consulting services as part of their graduate studies. Carly has also worked as an Assistant to the Human Services Director at El Centro De La Raza, a Project Supervisor at Amigos de las Americas, an Account Coordinator and Project Coordinator at Red Sky Strategic Communication, a Political/Economic Intern at the U.S. Department of State, and a Critical Language Scholar at the American Councils for International Education.

Throughout their career, Carly has demonstrated strong analytical skills, the ability to balance big-picture direction with attention to detail, and the capability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

Carly Joerger, MPA obtained their Master's of Public Administration degree from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington. Carly specialized in Leadership, Finance, Policy Analysis and Evaluation during their studies from 2017 to 2019.

Prior to their Master's degree, Carly earned their Bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho, where they studied International/Global Studies, French, Spanish, and History from 2012 to 2016.

Carly also had the opportunity to broaden their knowledge through a semester study abroad program at Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2014, focusing on French Studies.
