Daniel Lazo

Daniel Lazo is a Senior Community Engagement Coordinator at the City of Kirkland since May 2024, following a tenure as Public Information Manager for the City of San José. With extensive experience in community outreach and public communication, Daniel has developed and managed various public outreach plans and communications materials across multiple roles in the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Neighborhood Services. Previous positions include Public Information Representative II & Webmaster and Public Information Representative I at the City of San José, as well as leadership roles in student organizations such as Akbayan at San Jose State University. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising from San Jose State University and completed the Summer Math and Science Honors Academy at U.C. Berkeley.
