Kevin Pelstring is an accomplished financial planning supervisor with extensive experience in budget analysis and environmental research. Currently, Kevin serves as a Financial Planning Supervisor for the City of Kirkland since May 2020, previously working as a budget analyst. Prior to this, Kevin contributed to Seattle City Light as a Strategy, Planning & Analytics Intern, where responsibilities included managing market opportunity studies and developing programs for small businesses impacted by COVID-19. Kevin's earlier roles include research analyst positions focusing on environmental impacts at Craig Denisoff Consulting and significant contributions as a Climate Change Resiliency Educator with the Peace Corps. Kevin holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Financial Management from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, along with dual Bachelor degrees in Environmental Science & Management and Economics from the University of California, Davis.
