Marisa Allison

Marisa Allison is an experienced environmental and communications professional currently serving as the Environmental Education & Outreach Coordinator for the City of Kirkland since November 2024. Previously, Marisa worked as the Communications Manager at African Community Housing & Development, where responsibilities included managing press relations, crisis communications, and social media, as well as drafting fundraising appeals and newsletters. Earlier experience at Forterra encompassed roles as Community Relations Specialist and Database Specialist, focusing on data management and donor relations. Marisa's career also includes positions at the Washington Policy Center and PAWS, where administrative and customer support skills were honed. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Resource Management from the University of Washington.
