Lauren Hoerr, MUP, MPA, currently serves as Planner I for the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, where responsibilities include evaluating land use proposals and assisting the public with planning inquiries. Previously, Lauren held the role of Associate Project Manager at Metta Urban Design, overseeing project alignment and community outreach strategies. Experience as Associate Planner at EMC Planning Group involved developing community engagement strategies for housing element updates across California municipalities. Prior positions include Assistant Planner for the City of Lake Forest Park and various internships focused on sustainability and urban planning. Lauren holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Elon University.
