Jacqueline Ellis

Jacqueline Ellis is an experienced Code Compliance Officer with a strong background in criminal justice and compliance roles. Currently serving the City of La Mesa, CA since August 2021, Jacqueline previously held the position of Code Enforcement Officer for the County of San Diego and worked as a Graduate Student Worker at the San Diego County District Attorney's Office. Jacqueline's earlier experience includes roles as an Alcohol Compliance/Runner and Investigative Intern for various legal organizations, where skills in case organization, research, and effective communication were developed. Jacqueline holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology and possesses additional certifications and degrees in criminal justice and paralegal studies from San Diego State University and Southwestern Community College District.
