Kathy Feilen is a seasoned Engineering Project Manager with extensive experience in civil engineering and traffic management, currently serving the City of La Mesa, CA since November 1999. Previously, Kathy worked as an Assistant Resident Engineer at Morrison Knudson, overseeing the construction of an eight-foot diameter water line for the San Diego County Water Authority, and as a Senior Engineer supervising the Land Development Section at the City of La Mesa. Kathy began a career at San Diego Gas & Electric Co., where responsibilities included structural engineering design for substations, power plants, and transmission lines. Kathy holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University, completed between 1969 and 1984.
