Tammi Royales, MBA, MPA has over 13 years of experience in finance and accounting roles. Most recently, they worked as the Director of Finance and Accounting for the City of La Mesa, CA starting in July 2020. Prior to that, Tammi worked at Del Mar Fairgrounds for over a decade, holding various positions such as Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, and Staff Accountant. In these roles, they oversaw a large entertainment venue's finance department, managed budgets and allocations, troubleshooted complex finance issues, supervised accounting staff, and handled accounts payable. Tammi also gained experience in managing construction projects and providing cross-training and team development within the department.

Tammi Royales completed their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at San Diego State University from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Olivet Nazarene University between 2015 and 2017. Tammi's educational journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from National University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015.
