Haley Pocock Bowers

Haley Pocock Bowers is an accomplished professional with a background in public administration and economic development. Currently serving as the Economic Development Manager for the City of La Porte since October 2020, Haley has held multiple roles including Senior Administrative Assistant to the City Manager and Inspection Services Coordinator. Previous experience includes positions at the City of Humble as a Code Enforcement Clerk/Permits Clerk and as a Legal Clerk at Banks & Banks, Attorneys at Law, P.C. Additionally, Haley has interned with Zbranek Firm, P.C., and the U.S. House of Representatives, gaining valuable insight into legal processes and governmental operations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Lamar University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Government and History from Texas A&M University.
