Jason Platter is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cyber security and technology management. As the IT Manager for the City of Lacey since September 2017, Jason has led the development and implementation of the City's IT Security plan and created a comprehensive Incident Response playbook. Prior to this role, Jason served as the Learning Technology & Innovation Manager for the State of Washington, where a successful transition to a Software as a Service Learning Management System was orchestrated. Additionally, during tenure at C&M Technology, Inc., Jason managed significant infrastructure projects for the Oakland Unified School District. Early career experience includes a role as Network Administrator at Capital Medical Center, where Jason oversaw a large-scale patient documentation system implementation. Jason holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Technology from Brigham Young University - Idaho and an Associate's Degree in General Studies from South Puget Sound Community College.
