Marissa Anthony, M.Ed., is an experienced educator and facilitator with a strong background in special education and recreation. Currently serving as a paraeducator at North Thurston Public Schools since October 2019, Marissa implements individualized education plans in a life skills classroom. In addition, Marissa has been a recreation assistant with the City of Lacey since June 2015, overseeing summer programming and assuming interim coordination responsibilities during a colleague's paternity leave. Marissa's previous roles include capturing guest experiences as a Photopass photographer and serving in various capacities at Central Washington University, where Marissa planned events and engaged with students. Marissa holds a Master’s in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Education in Higher Education from Central Washington University, complementing a bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies from the same institution.
