Jonathan K. has extensive experience in law enforcement and animal welfare. Currently serving as a Police Detective and previously as a Police Officer for the City of Lafayette, Colorado since August 2020, Jonathan has demonstrated a commitment to public safety and community service. Prior experience includes working as an Animal Protection Officer for the City of Boulder from October 2012 to August 2020, where responsibilities involved enforcing laws related to animal welfare and conducting investigations. Jonathan also served as an Animal Services Officer at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region in 2012 and held the position of General Manager at Scales and Tales from 2011 to 2012, overseeing operations and ensuring high standards of care for exotic animals. Jonathan holds a Professional Certificate in Animal Welfare from the Humane Society of Pikes Peak Region Academy and has completed police training at the Jefferson County Lakewood Combined Police Academy.
