Scott Thomason

Scott Thomason currently serves as the Assistant Growth Management Director for the City of Lake City, FL, since November 2024. With extensive experience in building management and local governance, Scott has held positions such as Owner of HomePro Plus since July 2017, and Chief Building Official for both the City of Newberry and the City of Tavares. Additionally, Scott served as President of the Fort White Area Chamber of Commerce and the High Springs Chamber of Commerce, where efforts focused on economic development and support for local businesses. Educationally, Scott holds an Associate's degree in Political Science from Palm Beach Community College.
