Michael Hanada currently serves as Co-Chair of the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Advisory Board for the City of Lake Oswego, having been in this role since June 2021. In this position, Michael collaborates with the City Council to set goals, measure outcomes, and recommend enhancements to the city's diversity initiatives, significantly increasing participation from diverse backgrounds in various city activities. Concurrently, Michael has been with Intel Corporation since December 2015, holding roles as Digital Forensic Support Operations Manager in Information Security Investigations & eDiscovery and as Information Security Investigator Team Lead, focusing on digital forensics and threat detection. Previous experience includes serving as a Forensic Examiner for the FBI at the Northwest Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory, and as a Detective and Police Officer with the Beaverton Police Department. Michael's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Lewis and Clark College and a Master of Public Administration in Labor Relations from Portland State University.
