James Nixon

James Nixon has over six years of experience working for the United States Department of Defense. James began in 2015 as the Director of Housing, where they supervised a staff of 26 and was responsible for managing government-owned and leased facilities. In this role, they also oversaw a budget of approximately $1 million annually. From August 2015 to January 2021, James served as the DOD Housing Director for Unaccompanied Housing. In November 2021, they joined the City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania as the Bureau Chief of Property Maintenance & Property Inspection.

James Nixon attended Simpson University from 2006 to 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication.
