In this role, they also oversaw a budget of approximately $1 million annually. From August 2015 to January 2021, James served as the DOD Housing Director for Unaccompanied Housing. In November 2021, they joined the City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania as the Bureau Chief of Property Maintenance & Property Inspection.
