Heather Culliton Varden

Heather Culliton Varden currently serves as Deputy Mayor of Community Empowerment and Services Coordination for the City of Lancaster, a position held since March 2024, focusing on community empowerment through networking opportunities. Prior experience includes roles at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority as Community Relations Coordinator and Document Specialist since April 2021, and Deputy Mayor of Homelessness Initiatives for the City of Lancaster from February 2020 to July 2021. Heather has also worked as Partnerships Coordinator at Valley Oasis and Field Organizer at United Way of Greater Los Angeles, along with experiences at Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority in the Homeless Engagement Team. Earlier career highlights include serving as Operational Project Analyst at Bank of America from February 2003 to March 2017.
