Angela Burgtorf

Angela Burgtorf is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in tax preparation and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Income Tax Auditor for the City of Lansing, Michigan since March 2020, Angela previously held positions as an Accountant at 13 Marketing Group, Inc. and as a Tax Preparer at Simplified Accounting & Tax from 2002 to 2018. Additionally, Angela worked for the State of Michigan as an Accounting Manager/Specialist, focusing on the CAFR and MEDC financial statements, and as a Staff Accountant at Cardinal, Tepatti & Co., handling accounting for small businesses. Angela holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University and an Associate's degree in General Business from Lansing Community College.
