Enrique Alvarez

Enrique Alvarez has extensive experience in network and systems administration, currently serving as a Network Specialist and Systems Administrator for the City of Laredo since December 2006. Enrique possesses knowledge of structured cabling systems for local area networks, computer hardware, and various networking protocols, including OSI model layers and TCP/IP addressing schemes. Prior to this role, Enrique worked as a System Administrator for Cochise County from May 2005 to October 2006 and as the Management Information Systems Coordinator for TMC - Teaching & Mentoring Communities from March 2003 to May 2005, where responsibilities included overseeing regional computer network systems and providing user training and troubleshooting support. Enrique holds an Associate Degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Laredo Community College, earned between 1994 and 1997.
