Andy Hume, CM, serves as the Airport Administrator for the City of Las Cruces since October 2001, with experience in various roles including Acting Airport Administrator and Downtown Planning and Development Coordinator within the Economic Development Department. Hume has a background in transportation planning as a MPO Planner, focusing on non-motorized modes and land use integration. Additionally, Hume was the Vice President of the American Planning Association NM from 2010 to December 2018 and worked as a GIS Technician for El Paso County, as well as a Computer Lab Technician for Tucson Unified School District. Hume holds a Master of Public Administration and dual Bachelor's degrees in Geography and City and Regional Planning from New Mexico State University.
