Stephen K. Harsin

Stephen K. Harsin, AICP, serves as the Director of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services for the City of Las Vegas since June 2006, overseeing a department with a substantial budget and staff. Previous roles within the City of Las Vegas include Director of Neighborhood Services, Deputy Director of Neighborhood Services, and various planning positions, showcasing a progressive career in urban planning and neighborhood services since 1986. Notable earlier experience includes work as a Principal Planner in Houston and as a Planner II and Planning Technician II in Grand Prairie, Texas. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Cincinnati.
