Barry Mock is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community development and public works management. Currently serving as the Assistant City Manager for Community Development and the DDA Executive Director at the City of Lawrenceville since August 2017, Barry provides management and oversight for critical departments, including Natural Gas, Electric, and Water. Previous roles include Director of Operations at Hollandsworth Construction and Director of Business Solutions at Gwinnett County Public Schools, where Barry spearheaded significant technology projects and application support. Additional experience includes positions at Vintage Communities Inc. and Precision Planning, Inc., focusing on project management and engineering. Barry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
