Emanuel Fisteag is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst with a diverse background in GIS and technical roles. Currently employed by the City of Lawrenceville since July 2023, Emanuel is responsible for updating and maintaining GIS data, utilizing ArcGIS Enterprise and related software. Prior experience includes a tenure at Byers Engineering Company, where Emanuel coordinated with field technicians to maintain accurate accounting of various transportation equipment. Additional roles in GIS and technical fields include positions at Georgia Mountains Regional Commission, University of North Georgia, and several construction and maintenance roles. Emanuel holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography and an Associate of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Georgia, as well as a Certificate of Completion from the US Navy Engineering Common Core/Electrical Apprenticeship School.
